Caz Limited was formed in 1997 from the merger of a graphic design business and a software development house to enable the principals, Beverly Tattersfield and Crispin Horsfield, to move into the newly emerging website market which they then stayed in for the next twenty years.

Crispin started out as an independent electronics engineer designing and building bespoke scientific equipment for research establishments. Later this work broadened into the commercial realm and included computing and software development.

Beverly worked for many years as a freelance graphic designer for printed material and exhibition stands. Designing websites was a natural progression as times changed.
